Fabregas Told to Steer Clear of Chelsea Return Amid Managerial Links

Former Cesc Fàbregas has been advised to steer clear of a potential return to Chelsea FC, amid reports linking him with the club’s managerial role at Stamford Bridge.

The 38-year-old, who is currently making waves with Como 1907 as they push for a UEFA Champions League spot, has emerged as a strong contender to replace Liam Rosenior. Rosenior’s stint ended abruptly after a 3–0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, just 107 days into the job.

Fàbregas is reportedly on a shortlist alongside Andoni Iraola, Xabi Alonso, and Julian Nagelsmann. Still, some voices in football circles are questioning whether Chelsea is the right environment for him.

Former France international Emmanuel Petit did not hold back in his assessment, urging Fàbregas to think twice. Speaking to Andy’s Bet Club, Petit dismissed the idea outright, suggesting that if given a choice between Chelsea and FC Barcelona, the Spaniard should opt for the latter.

Petit described Chelsea as chaotic and difficult for both players and managers, arguing that despite the intense pressure at Barcelona, it offers a more stable and composed environment.
