Former media aide to late former President , , has explained why former Vice President should emerge as the presidential candidate of the ahead of the party’s presidential primary for the 2027 general election.
Onochie stated that Atiku remains the strongest contender capable of giving the ADC a realistic chance of defeating other major political parties and winning the presidency in 2027.
According to her, the former vice president possesses the political experience, nationwide structure, and electoral appeal needed to position the ADC as a formidable force ahead of the next presidential election.
She maintained that among the aspirants linked with the party’s ticket, only Atiku has the capacity to unite opposition forces and attract broad support across the country.
Onochie further argued that if the ADC is serious about taking over power at the federal level and governing Nigeria effectively, the party should settle for Atiku as its flag bearer.
Her remarks come as political activities and alignments continue to intensify ahead of the ADC presidential primary and the 2027 general election.
