A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Terwase Orbunde, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on behalf of himself, his family, and political associates, Orbunde described Tinubu’s nomination as a demonstration of the confidence and trust members of the APC continue to place in the President’s leadership and vision for the country.
The former Chief of Staff to the Benue State Governor also commended the APC National Working Committee for creating what he described as an enabling environment that ensured the successful conduct of the party’s primary election.
According to Orbunde, the party’s decision to return Tinubu as its presidential flagbearer reflects the desire of APC members for the continuation of the President’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” which he said is aimed at delivering good governance and democratic dividends to Nigerians.
He further prayed for God to grant the President good health, wisdom, strength, and reliable team members to sustain the delivery of effective leadership and national development across the country.
