Nigeria has suffered from bad leadership and government since she gained her independence in 1960 despite the fact that the country is blessed with natural and human resources.
From the inception of democratic rule in 1999 Nigeria, has earned trillions of dollars from crude oil revenue with nothing to show for it. In the last 8 years of the APC government, Nigerians have witnessed excruciating pains from bad governance, they queue to buy fuel in a country that produces crude oil, experienced hyper and galloping inflation due to bad and deficient micro and macroeconomic policies, insecurity resulting from the activities of the world deadliest terrorist group Boko Haram, when Buhari promised us as an ex-military general to take them head on, banditry from herdsmen, kidnappings from Fulani militias, poor basic infrastructure, no constant electricity in this 21st century when most countries have taken the issue of power for granted, no standard health care because the leaders pride themselves to receive medical attention in foreign countries(medical terrorism) leading to capital flight and paying less attention to our medical personnel which has led to many fleeing the country in search of greener pastures making us lose our best hands leading to brain drain, they paid little or no attention to our educational sector because their children school in the best Irving schools in the world and they come on social media to celebrate such recklessness and irresponsibility, more so, many of these leaders benefitted from free education pioneered by Azikiwe, Awolowo and Alli.
