Nigerian artist Moshood Abdulmuiz, professionally known as Muyeez, has announced his decision to terminate his contract with Dapper Music & Entertainment Limited. In a statement shared on his Instagram account, Muyeez expressed his deep dissatisfaction with his experience under the management of the company, citing exploitation, neglect, and betrayal.
Muyeez alleged that despite releasing three successful extended plays in a month, which topped the charts, he had not received any royalties for his work. He also claimed that he was a minor when he signed his contract, trusting the company to guide him, only to be “burdened with impossible demands.”
This development comes shortly after fellow signee Crown Uzama, aka Shallipopi, publicly revealed his decision to terminate his contract with Dapper Music & Entertainment, citing similar issues of financial mismanagement, lack of transparency, and exploitative contracts.
