Lagos Workers Enjoy N70,000 Minimum Pay as Sanwo-Olu Promises New Minimum Wage Scheme

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that his administration has been providing an additional N35,000 wage allowance to state workers since January, aside their regular salary.

This brings the minimum take-home pay to N70,000 or more.

He revealed that a new minimum wage scheme will soon be implemented at both federal and state levels.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized that his government is committed to supporting citizens during difficult economic times and prioritizes security, decent living standards, and improved quality of life for residents.

He stated, “We are a government that cares about your well-being and is dedicated to making life better for you.”
