Youths of Amaekpu Ohafia on Thursday evening drummed support for Labour Party candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in 2023 general election, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa.
The youths while declaring their support for him insisted that Osonwa is the most credible of the aspirants, noting that the constituency won’t vote for incompetent people in 2023.
Our correspondent reports that the youths endorsed Osonwa when he met them alongside the Labour Party Deputy Governorship of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu.
The Labour Party candidates said they were meeting with the youths to sell their manifestos, programs and policies to them.
According to one of the youths who spoke to journalists under anonymity, “we know our best eleven and we know those who cannot deliver if elected. We need a vocal, vibrant and eloquent representative in 2023.
“For that reason, this is the time to unite and support a credible candidate in the person of Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa. He is the best among all those contesting for the seat of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.”
