THE ruling of a Federal High Court dismissing all of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the 2023 general election, including the party’s nominee for governor, Tonye Cole, has been overturned by an Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.

Following a lawsuit brought by George Orlu and five other people, the Federal High Court, presided over by Justice Emmanuel Obile, dismissed the APC candidates on October 25.
