The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, says his party will continue to speak out over what it believes are plans to manipulate the 2027 general elections.
Abdullahi alleged that preparations to rig the polls are already underway but stressed that the opposition would not be intimidated into silence. According to him, raising the alarm is necessary to keep Nigerians and the international community aware of what he described as disturbing signs within the political space.
Speaking on Morning Brief on Channels Television, he said the ADC remains determined to use every available platform to express its concerns.
He also accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of being uncomfortable with opposition voices, claiming the government appears irritated by criticism and would rather not be questioned.
“We will not stop saying it. We are not giving up. We have a voice, and we will use it,” Abdullahi declared, adding that democracy thrives on accountability and open debate.
