Angus Fraser College, Makurdi, has officially opened admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session following a guided media tour that showcased the institution’s modern infrastructure and strong commitment to international-standard education.
The facility tour, held on Monday, February 23, 2026, was led by the Principal, Mr. Emmanuel Awua, who conducted media executives around the college premises. The delegation was taken through well-equipped classrooms, state-of-the-art technology laboratories, conducive hostel accommodations, as well as sports and arts facilities designed to promote holistic student development.

Among the visiting media executives were the Director General of Radio Benue, Mr. Terseer Mzuulga; the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Harvest FM, Mr. Shimataver Aondoakaa; the General Manager of Brothers FM, Chief Elaigwu Abutu; and the General Manager of Agate Radio, Mr. Igba Igbole.
The media team commended the quality of facilities and the serene learning environment, describing the college as a model for secondary education in the state.

In his remarks, Mr. Awua expressed appreciation to the media executives for honouring the invitation, noting that the visit created an opportunity for the institution to demonstrate its dedication to providing a safe, innovative and supportive academic environment.
He stressed that beyond the impressive physical infrastructure, the college is powered by qualified and dedicated staff committed to academic excellence, creativity, critical thinking and character formation. According to him, the school operates a collaborative culture anchored on transparency and community engagement. He expressed optimism that media coverage would further spotlight the college’s role in delivering globally competitive secondary education in Benue State.

Responding on behalf of the visiting media team, the General Manager of Brothers FM, Chief Elaigwu Abutu, described the college as exceptional. He noted that such standards are rarely found in Benue outside major education hubs like Abuja and Lagos, pledging the station’s support in amplifying public awareness of the institution’s programmes.
Admissions are currently open into Basic 7 and 8, as well as SS1 and SS2. The first batch of the entrance examination is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the college premises, with a processing fee of N20,000.
