President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to combating banditry and terrorism, which continue to affect many regions of the country. He made the remarks on Monday in Yola while commissioning projects initiated by Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri.
Tinubu praised the efforts of the Nigerian Armed Forces, pledging continued support for their work. “We are grateful to the Nigerian armed forces for their dedication to liberating Nigeria from banditry and insurgency. Together, we will succeed,” he said. He also encouraged governors and citizens to cooperate in developing their states and the nation.
The President commended Governor Fintiri for his developmental initiatives and highlighted the contributions of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, a fellow Adamawa native. Tinubu described Ribadu, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police and former EFCC chairman, as honest, bold, courageous, and committed. “With your dedication, the enemies of Nigeria will be flushed out,” he affirmed.
