The Board Chairman, North Central Development Commission, NCDC, Barr. Cosmas Akighir has charged Ward Chairmen to intensify mobilization for the massive turn-up of APC members for the ongoing E-registration exercise in Gboko LG.
Applauding the initial commitment of the ward Chairmen, which he said, has yielded the good results, recorded in the previous elections. The NCDC Boss Charged them to do even more, to justify the confidence, reposed in Sen. Dr. George Akume, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Akighir gave the charge earlier today, 24th January, 2026, when he hosted ward Chairmen from across the 17 Council wards in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, where he offered a huge financial assistance, in support of the ongoing APC membership E-Registration.
The Party Chairman of the LG Area, Hon. Basil Yina Applauded Barr. Akighir, for remaining supportive to the party even before he attained the helm man of NCDC, he prayed God to elevate him even the more for increased dividends to his people.
Basil equally lauded the support received from other stakeholders like, Hon. Mrs. Becky Orpin, Hon. Engr. Begha Nyamkume, including Rep. Mrs. Regina Akume JP. He said the above supports aided the running of a situation report room.
Akighir later inspected the Gboko E-Registration situation report room, where he also registered and was presented with his membership as member of the All Progressive Congress APC, of Gboko South ward, Gboko LG Area, Benue State.
