The father of the late Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa, more known as MohBad, Mr Joseph Aloba has bared his mind on conducting a DNA test on his grandson.
Mohbad’s father in an interview with BBC Pidgin, while emphasising the strong bond he shared with his son, described their relationship as that of close companions who interacted like brothers.
On the DNA test mention, Joseph Aloba acknowledged that the controversy surrounding it had extended beyond Nigeria and had now become an international matter.
He advised that the right course of action should be taken at the right moment concerning the DNA test.
“This thing has come to majority now, not only Nigeria. So they should do the proper thing at the proper time”, he said.
The paternity of MohBad’s five-month-old son, Liam became a topic of discussion after an alleged leaked voice note between the singer and his wife came to the fore.
In the voice note, Mohbad was alleged to have accused the wife of plotting to kill him.
