A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Buba Galadima, has declared that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu face an uphill battle ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Galadima, a former frontline member of the APC and the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), made the remarks while speaking on the political outlook of the country, insisting that the ruling party has lost public confidence.
According to him, the level of dissatisfaction among Nigerians is so deep that the APC may struggle to retain power in the next election cycle. He further stated that there is “no way out” for both the party and President Tinubu in 2027.
In a strongly worded comment, Galadima added that the situation has deteriorated to the extent that “even a corpse can defeat President Tinubu” in the election, emphasizing what he described as widespread frustration among citizens.
His comments come amid ongoing debates over governance, economic challenges, and political alignments as parties begin early positioning ahead of the 2027 polls.
