The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja.
Yilwatda’s visit was to commiserate with El-Rufai over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who died on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Cairo after a period of illness.
During the visit, the APC chairman expressed his heartfelt condolences to the former governor and his family, praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul. He also prayed that God grants the family the strength to bear the loss.
The visit drew sympathy from party members and associates, who have continued to send messages of support to El-Rufai and his family during this period of mourning.
