Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has expressed strong displeasure over the deplorable state of the Nasara Sacks Packaging Company in Akwanga, which has been vandalized and rendered non-functional despite being leased to an indigenous private operator.
During an inspection visit, Governor Sule lamented that the company, once established to boost industrial growth and create jobs, has failed to serve its intended purpose due to neglect and poor management.
The Governor disclosed that the state government would revoke the existing agreement with the current operator and reassign the facility to a more capable investor who can revitalize its operations for the mutual benefit of the state and the investor.

While condemning the vandalism, Sule issued a stern warning that individuals found guilty of sabotaging public infrastructure would face the full wrath of the law.

According to him, his administration remains committed to ensuring that state-owned enterprises are functional and contribute meaningfully to economic development.
