A staff member of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Mr. Louis Nwachukwu, has been found dead under unclear circumstances in a hotel room located in the Mabushi area of Abuja.
According to preliminary findings, Mr. Nwachukwu reportedly checked into the unnamed hotel alongside a woman identified as Miss Helen Raymond. Miss Raymond told authorities that the two engaged in sexual activity before Mr. Nwachukwu fell asleep. She claimed that hours later, she noticed he was unresponsive and immediately alerted hotel staff, who then contacted emergency services.

Upon arrival, medical responders confirmed Mr. Nwachukwu had passed away. The cause of death has not yet been determined, and an autopsy is expected to be conducted to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
Authorities have not confirmed whether foul play is suspected, but investigations are ongoing. Miss Raymond is said to be cooperating with the police.
