The Dennis Aikoriogie Foundation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to improving lives through health-focused initiatives and social support programmes.
Central to this mission is the organisation of free medical outreaches, providing vital healthcare services to underserved communities.
As part of activities marking Dr Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie’s birthday on June 14, the Foundation offered free medical services to residents across the Benin City metropolis, reinforcing his belief that every Edo citizen deserves access to quality healthcare.
The outreach, recently held at Efe Hall, included free consultations, health screenings, and distribution of essential medication, benefiting hundreds of residents.
Beyond health, the Foundation is known for its wide-ranging impact: empowering the girl child through the distribution of sanitary pads, hosting Christmas parties for orphans, empowering women and youth, and distributing food during festive seasons.
It also extends educational scholarships and mentorship to indigent students and street children, providing tools for long-term self-sufficiency.
Founded by Dr Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie, a chartered economist and certified management consultant, the Foundation draws from his extensive professional background in mathematics, economics, administration, and public service in both Nigeria and the United States.
His work goes beyond charity, he envisions a comprehensive transformation of Edo State’s healthcare landscape, including the upgrading of 55 primary health centres, establishing a world-class teaching hospital in Benin City, expanding the Edo State Health Insurance Scheme, and investing in digital health infrastructure.
Through his Foundation, Dr Aikoriogie is not only addressing immediate community needs but also laying the groundwork for sustainable social development, proving that impactful leadership begins with compassion and vision.
