Democracy Day Message From Dr Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie
Nigeria’s journey toward true democracy has been shaped by moments of deep struggle and profound sacrifice. Among these, June 12 stands out as a landmark that redefined our national consciousness and rekindled the people’s faith in their power to choose and be heard.
It is a day etched into history as a turning point that gave voice to the will of the electorate and exposed the cost of silencing that will.
As we mark this Democracy Day, we remember the courage of those who stood firm in the face of injustice and oppression. Their bravery continues to inspire generations of Nigerians to defend democratic values and demand good governance.
