Suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has clarified that she had no involvement in a viral TikTok video featuring the song “Omo Ologo,” which has become an anthem for President Bola Tinubu’s perceived victories.
The 15-second clip, shared on May 8, shows the senator smiling and playfully engaging with the camera, sparking mixed interpretations from online viewers. The song, performed by Dauda ‘Rarara’ Kahutu during a dinner in honour of President Tinubu on May 3 in Katsina State, has gained significant traction online.
Akpoti-Uduaghan took to her official X account to issue a disclaimer, stating that she does not own a TikTok account and had no connection to the video. She explained that the video was created using a recycled 2023 clip and urged the public to disregard the misleading post.
The senator maintained that while she holds President Tinubu in high regard, she was not involved in the video’s creation or dissemination.
