In a bid to consolidate on his developmental strides and maintain close engagement with his constituents, Honourable Terseer Ugbor, Member representing Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has announced a robust four-day Easter itinerary that reflects his commitment to grassroots development, security, education, and infrastructure.
The itinerary, which begins on April 21st and ends on April 24th, 2025, will see Hon. Ugbor traversing various communities across Kwande and Ushongo Local Government Areas, commissioning completed constituency projects, inspecting ongoing ones, and holding interactive sessions with stakeholders.
April 21, 2025 – Commissioning of Traditional Council Hall, Lessel, Ushongo
The Easter tour kicks off on Monday, April 21st, with the official commissioning of a newly built Traditional Council Hall in Lessel, Ushongo. This facility is expected to serve as a unifying center for traditional leaders in the area, promoting cultural dialogue, dispute resolution, and community planning.
April 22, 2025 – Security and Education Take Center Stage in Kwande
On Tuesday, April 22nd, Hon. Ugbor will be in Jato-Aka, Kwande, where he will commission a temporary Police Border Patrol Station, a personal donation aimed at boosting border security and supporting federal security efforts in the region. This will be followed by a crucial engagement with local vigilante groups and other security services to assess local security challenges and strategies for improvement.
Later in the day, attention will shift to education as Hon. Ugbor commissions a newly constructed six-classroom block equipped with modern furniture in Mbachile, Menev, Kwande. The school facility is part of his ongoing investment in quality basic education infrastructure.
April 23, 2025 – Stakeholder Engagements and Project Inspections
Midweek activities on April 23rd will begin with an interactive session at the Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency Office in Adikpo. This session will bring together selected groups, including youth, women, farmers, and opinion leaders for open dialogue on legislative representation, constituency development, and policy priorities.
Following the session, Hon. Ugbor will proceed to Adagi, Kwande, to inspect the proposed site for a National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Study Center — a project poised to enhance access to tertiary education in the region.
Later in the day, he will inspect the ongoing works at the Technology Incubation Center in Adikpo, designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and small-scale manufacturing. The day’s activities will wrap up with an inspection of the site approved for the establishment of a Forestry Research Center in Ushongo, which aims to support sustainable land use and environmental preservation.
April 24, 2025 – Infrastructure Development and Community Water Access
The final day of the itinerary, April 24th, will focus on key infrastructural inspections. Hon. Ugbor will visit Mbaaka, Ushongo, to inspect the River Iniega bridge site, slated for reconstruction to enhance rural connectivity and economic access. He will also tour ten ongoing motorised borehole projects under his “Water4All Initiative,” aimed at ensuring clean and accessible water across communities.
In a statement, Hon. Ugbor expressed gratitude for the support he has received and called on constituents to participate actively in the scheduled events.

The Honourable Member is expected to depart the constituency after the conclusion of the itinerary on April 24th.
