Omale also took the opportunity to laud the APC Elders Forum, led by Senator Barnabas Gemade, for providing valuable guidance and support during politically challenging times. He emphasized the importance of unity in strengthening the APC position in the state.
The APC Elders Forum, under the leadership of Senator Barnabas Gemade, has been a pillar of support during these turbulent times. Their leadership continues to guide us as we work towards a brighter future for Benue,Omale said.
The state APC caretaker chairman further highlighted the growing strength of the party, revealing that over 80,000 members from opposition parties have expressed interest in joining the APC. He credited Governor Alia’s developmental initiatives and inclusive governance as key factors driving this surge in support.
The overwhelming support for Governor Alia, particularly in his fight against corruption, is a clear indication of the trust the people have in his leadership. Our party is growing stronger by the day, with thousands of opposition members defecting to join us. This speaks volumes about the impact Governor Alia is making in the state, Omale added.
The statement also acknowledged the contributions of community development agencies across Benue 23 local government areas, commending their efforts toward grassroots progress and development.
As the APC continues to strengthen its position in Benue State, Omale urged party members and well-meaning citizens to remain united in their support for Governor Alia’s administration, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to rebuild and transform the state.
We must remain steadfast in our support for Governor Alia. Together, we can achieve the progress and development that Benue deserves. Let us continue to pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, and protection upon our governor as he leads the state toward greater heights,Omale concluded.
