Egypt has strongly condemned Israel’s plan to displace Palestinians, describing it as a blatant violation of international law. In a statement, Egypt warned of the catastrophic consequences of such actions, which undermine ceasefire negotiations and threaten regional stability.
Egypt reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Palestinian rights and called on the international community to hold those responsible accountable. The country emphasized that any move to forcibly displace Palestinians would only provoke further conflict and destabilize the region.
The United Nations has also expressed concern over the proposal, with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees describing it as “very surprising” and raising more questions than answers.
Egypt’s rejection comes amid growing concerns that any forced displacement could escalate tensions across the region. The country has long been a key player in ceasefire negotiations and has consistently supported Palestinian rights.
