The North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum has renewed its appeal to Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, urging him to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and align with their party. In a statement released on Saturday in Abuja, the Forum’s Chairman, Saleh Zazzaga, extended an invitation to the governor to join the APC and assume a leadership role within the party in Plateau State before the upcoming congress.

Having the governor of Plateau State as a member of the APC would ensure streamlined development of the entire North-Central, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Tinubu-led APC Federal Government,” the statement read.

The APC Forum disclosed that its invitation to Mutfwang was not a new development. “In 2024, we sent a letter to Governor Mutfwang inviting him to join the APC. We also informed the National Secretariat of our party of this invitation. At this point, we are renewing our call by inviting him again to come on board and take up the leadership of the party in Plateau State before the next congress,” the statement added.
