The Benue State Education Quality Assurance, led by Director General Dr. Terna Francis, has taken decisive action against substandard and unregistered schools in Gboko local government. In collaboration with the Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), they have sealed ten schools that failed to meet the required standards.
The affected schools are:

– Nictom Academy in Yandev
– Malanathan Academy in Mker
– Laurel Children Academy in Mkar
– De-Ps Children Academy in Mkar
– St. Peters Nursery and Primary School in Mkar
– Garden of Glory College on J.S Tarka Way
– Unique Nursery and Primary School in Gboko West
– Merits Tots Academy in Gboko South
– A4 Palace Nursery and Primary School
