The Israeli military has issued a warning to Lebanese nationals to evacuate 24 additional villages amidst escalating tensions. This warning comes after previous alerts to leave border areas, citing imminent military operations.
“We request that you take immediate action and leave the villages… for your own safety,” the Israeli military stated in leaflets dropped over the affected areas.
The targeted villages are located near the Israeli-Lebanese border, where tensions have intensified due to Hezbollah’s presence. Israel has repeatedly warned of military action against the Iran-backed group.
The military warning emphasized: “Any presence or activity in these areas will be considered a threat and will be handled accordingly.”
Lebanese residents have been advised to relocate to safer areas until further notice. The situation remains volatile, with international concerns growing over potential conflict escalation.
Hezbollah’s continued presence and activities have led to increased tensions, prompting Israel’s repeated warnings and military preparations.
