The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 90.33% of Edo governorship election results to its Result Viewing Portal. Out of 4,519 polling units, results from 4,082 have been transmitted successfully.
Earlier, Edo’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, Anugbum Onuoha, assured smooth electronic transmission of results on Arise Television, citing potential network disruptions as the only concern.
“We have trained the operators for the BVAS. They are set,” Onuoha stated. “BVAS is to accredit voters and determine the total number of voters at each polling unit.”
INEC’s progress and Onuoha’s reassurance aim to ensure transparency and credibility in the electoral process.
