APC NWC Dissolves Benue State Executive Committee, Constitutes 7-Member Caretaker Committee

In a surprise move, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissolved the Benue State Executive Committee, effective immediately. A 7-member Caretaker Committee has been constituted to oversee the party’s affairs in the state for the next six months.

The Caretaker Committee, inaugurated by National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at the party’s National Secretariat on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, comprises:

1. Hon. Benjamin Omale – Chairman

2. Prof. Bem Angwe – Secretary

3. Hon. Richard Mzungweve – Member

4. Hon. James Ornguga – Member

5. Hon. Barr. Terhemen Ngbea – Member

6. Hon. Helen Agaigbe – Member

7. Barr. Ali Francis Adah – Member

This development is seen as a strategic move to reposition the party ahead of the upcoming elections. The Caretaker Committee’s six-month tenure is expected to bring stability and direction to the party’s activities in Benue State.
