Court prohibits Bayero, four others from using the Emir title

It was gathered by Hobnob News reports that the court has issued a ruling prohibiting Bayero and four others from parading themselves as Emirs, in favour of Emir Sanusi.

The High Court in Kano state issued a permanent injunction preventing the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, and four other former Emirs from laying claim to their titles.

The ruling explicitly forbids the previous Emirs of Bichi, Rano, Gaya, and Karaye, along with their employees and representatives, from portraying themselves as Emirs.

Apparently, Kano State Government took legal action to prevent the deposed Emirs from using their royal titles and residing in their palaces.

Additionally, the government has issued a 48-hour notice for the Emirs to leave their palaces following their deposition.
