The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) 2023 Presidential Candidate, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has accuses the APC-led Federal Government of attempting to create a new breed of Boko Haram terrorists in Kano State.
Kwankwaso while reacting to the current situation in Kano, where the Federal security agencies were alleged to have supported the deposed Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero.
Kwankwamso at a flag-off ceremony for rural road networks in Madobi, said:
“We have mass followership because people believe in us, we are pro-people, and the NNPP administration is determined to serve them.”
He adds, “We won’t fold our arms and watch enemies of the state destroy our dear state’s peaceful co-existence…we’ll support the governor to succeed.”
He further warned:
“Enemies of the state, suffering mental illness, advise the Federal Government to take over Kano through a State of Emergency. This is madness! Good people of Kano will resist.” He vows, “We’re not afraid to be out of power…we’ll remain politicians, in or out of government…we know what’s good for us and will pursue it vigorously.”
The NNPP National leader further added:
“The Federal Government listens to unpatriotic politicians from Kano, who’ll contribute to its failure. We’re open to dialogue, truce, and reconciliation, but won’t accept intimidation or political harassment. We know how to play politics and have all it takes to protect ourselves from evil.”
