Former US President, Donald Trump, made a stop at the “People’s Convention” hosted by Turning Point Action in Michigan, where he addressed a crowd of supporters ahead of the November 5, 2024, presidential election.
In his characteristic style, Trump emphasized the importance of border security and deportation of radical Islamic terrorists.
“The choice for every voter in November is clear: You can have a President who lets thousands of radical Islamic terrorists into our country or you can decide to have a President who throws radical Islamic terrorists the hell out of our Country”, he said.
Trump promised that on the first day of his new administration, he would initiate the largest deportation operation in American history, stating, “We have no choice, this is not sustainable.”
The former President also took a jab at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, calling him “maybe the greatest salesman of any politician that ever lived.”
Trump claimed that every time Zelenskyy visits the United States, he secures billions of dollars in aid, saying, “He just left four days ago, with $60 billion, and he gets home and he announces that he needs another $60 billion, and it never ends.”
Trump vowed to resolve the issue before entering the White House, even as President-elect, saying, “I will have that settled.”
The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as Trump reiterated his commitment to securing the country’s borders and protecting American interests.
With the presidential election just months away, Trump’s message resonated with his supporters, who see him as a strong leader capable of addressing the nation’s pressing issues.
