Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, revealed on Sunday that he received a divine revelation indicating that “President Bola Tinubu will serve his full eight-year term before leaving.”
Umahi made this disclosure during his appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he discussed the progress of infrastructure projects such as the Third Mainland Bridge and the 700km Lagos-Calabar coastal expressway.
When questioned about his certainty regarding Tinubu’s re-election to oversee the completion of all projects, the former Ebonyi governor remarked, “The Lagos-Calabar coastal road, as you rightly said, is 700km and consists of 10 lanes, five on either side, with provisions for rail lines in the middle. Our aim is to finish it within the eight-year tenure of Mr. President’s administration.”
“Well, you referred to me as a pastor. But I also consider myself a prophet, and it’s important to note that Mr. President’s ascension to power is divinely ordained. When God initiates a task, He ensures its completion. Therefore, I am firmly convinced and compelled to share that God revealed to me that this administration will endure for eight years because it is ordained by Him.”
Umahi emphasized the divine nature of the current administration and attributed President Tinubu’s actions to divine inspiration. Additionally, he highlighted the government’s efforts to connect major expressways with routes leading to other West African countries.
Concerning the Third Mainland Bridge, Umahi assured Nigerians that “99 percent of the remedial work” had been completed, and additional measures such as installing solar lights and CCTV were being implemented to address security issues, including illegal activities like sand mining.
