Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie, the gubernatorial candidate of the National Rescue Movement in Edo State, has unveiled his plans to empower the youth of the state with vibrant business ideas if elected as the next governor.
Dr. Aikoriogie emphasized the importance of harnessing the entrepreneurial spirit of Edo’s youth to drive economic growth and development in the state. He pledged to create a platform that would provide financial support, mentorship, and training for young people with innovative business ideas.
“I believe that the youth are the future of our state, and it is imperative that we invest in their potential and creativity,” said Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie. “I am committed to creating an enabling environment for young entrepreneurs to thrive and contribute to the economic transformation of Edo State.”
Dr. Aikoriogie highlighted the need for a holistic approach to youth empowerment, including access to affordable credit, technical assistance, and market linkages. He also emphasized the importance of promoting and supporting businesses that are environmentally sustainable and socially responsible.
If elected as governor of Edo State, Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie has promised to establish a Youth Entrepreneurship Development Fund to provide seed capital for startups, as well as establish incubation centers and business development services to support young entrepreneurs.
The gubernatorial candidate urged the youth of Edo State to rally behind his vision for a prosperous and inclusive future, and promised to prioritize their welfare and empowerment if elected into office.
