Former Members of the Enugu State House of Assembly Congratulate Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah for Victories

In a recent plenary session, the Former Members of the Enugu State House of Assembly, including former Speakers, Principal Officers, and other esteemed individuals, unanimously resolved to congratulate His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, for his remarkable victories in the recent elections. The assembly specifically acknowledged his success at the polls on March 18, 2023, as well as his triumph at the Enugu State Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal on September 21, 2023.

During the session, members took the opportunity to reflect on the governance model of Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah. It was unanimously agreed that Governor Mbah is a visionary leader with a thoughtful, reflective, and imaginative approach. The assembly collectively recognized the disruptive, innovative, and endearing nature of the policies and programs enacted by the Enugu State government under his leadership.

However, amidst the praise, some concerns were voiced regarding the state’s road infrastructure. Members expressed disappointment that Enugu State has been lagging behind neighboring states, such as Ebonyi and Anambra, in terms of road network development. The assembly emphasized the crucial role that well-developed roads play in enhancing connectivity, boosting economic growth, and improving the overall quality of life for the people of Enugu State.

Building on the foundation laid by previous administrations, Governor Mbah’s vision aims to leverage horizontal interjurisdictional externalities to further drive the state’s progress. Recognizing the missed opportunities of the past, the assembly implores Governor Mbah to extend his unwavering support to optimal achievement.

The Former Members of the Enugu State House of Assembly express their heartfelt congratulations to Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah and wish him continued success in his endeavors to bring positive change to Enugu State.
