WAEC Certificate: Atiku Returns Fight To Tinubu With New Evidence

The camp of Atiku Abubakar has mocked supporters of President Bola Tinubu trying to make an issue over the WAEC certificate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate.

Hobnob News reports that aides of President Tinubu and his political associates had been trying to make an issue of the fact that Atiku changed his name Sadiq which he used to write the WAEC secondary school certificate examination.

According to Hobnob News reports,he explained, “Yes, I used Sadiq Abubakar to sit for my WAEC, and after passing my exams, I went to swear an affidavit to say I am the same person as ATIKU Abubakar.” Atiku pointed out that he used his full name throughout his academic and professional journey, questioning the accusations of forgery.

However, not satisfied, Tunde Rahman, a key aide of the president retorted asking why Atiku changed the name Sadiq after finishing school and also how he got to further his studies using the diploma certificate obtained from the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU.Countering Rahman on Wednesday morning, Atiku’s Special Assistant on Public Communication, Prank Shaibu, shared an old magazine featuring Atiku and his 1965 classmates. Shaibu emphasized the authenticity of Atiku’s educational background, dismissing the accusations as baseless. He tweeted, “When you attend a spiritual school and graduate before the school is established, how can you have classmates? This is one photo that the associates of a certain serial #forger wished they have! 🤣🤣🤣 #ShamelessBats.”

This revelation has ignited a heated debate online, with supporters and critics of both political figures expressing their opinions on social media platforms. Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that Atiku Abubakar has also been involved in a parallel controversy, accusing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of certificate forgery, adding another layer of tension to the political landscape.
