Another Chibok Girl Rescued By The Nigerian Military

One of the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram terrorists, Mary Nkeke, has been successfully rescued by the Joint Task Force Northeast, Operation Hadin Kai.

 

The 27 years old girl regained her freedom in a rescue operation carried out by members of Taskforce Dikwa on August 14, 2023.

 

Her name was positioned at serial number 55 on the list of Nigerian Army Abducted Chibok Girls.

 

It would be recalled that on the night of April 2014, 276 mostly female students aged from 16 to 18 were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists from the Government Girls Secondary School at the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria while they were taking their final exams in physics.

 

57 of them escaped immediately after they jumped from the trucks that transported them with the Nigerian Military rescue some on various occasions.
