Dr. Nuhu Clark, a member elected in the just concluded 2023 general election to represent Chibok at Borno State House of Assembly is reported dead.
According to Hobnob News he died on Tuesday. The deceased was a former commissioner of poverty alleviation.
Other positions he had held in public service includes Chairman of Chibok Local Government, and served as an adviser to Borno State Government.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of his death could not be established But some reports from reliable source told us that he died as result of brief illness in India
MR Nuhu Clark, the Borno Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation, has resigned from office to contest Chibok State Constituency election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Clark told Hobnob News in an interview in Maiduguri on Monday that his decision was to ensure quality representation for the people of Chibok.
Clark who served as the elected Chairman of Chibok Local Government in 1999 said he was still connected to his people and that his project remained the people’s project.
He lauded Gov. Babagana Zulum for giving him the opportunity to serve as a commissioner, adding that his experience as former council chairman, state youth leader, and adviser would be brought to bear when he emerges as a lawmaker.
He Won in the recent General Election as State house of Assembly representing Chibok LG area of Borno State.
