
The Governor of Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the arrival of a new set of 24-car trains aimed at strengthening the Lagos Red Line fleet.
According to the governor, the addition of the new trains is expected to significantly improve passenger capacity, reduce waiting times, and make daily commuting more convenient for residents across Lagos State.

Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to developing a transport system that is both efficient and reliable, emphasizing that enhancing mobility remains a key priority for the state government.

He added that the ongoing investments in rail infrastructure are part of broader efforts to modernize Lagos’ transportation network and improve the overall quality of life for Lagosians.
