Former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose has alleged that Seyi Makinde is planning to remove Oba Rashidi Ladoja from his position as the Olubadan of Ibadan.
In a post shared on X, Fayose claimed that the Oyo State government is set to begin the process this week by issuing an official query against the monarch. According to him, one of the reasons to be cited is Oba Ladoja’s absence at the recent coronation of High Chiefs in Ibadanland.
Fayose stated that the alleged move would also include other unspecified allegations against the traditional ruler.
As of now, the Oyo State Government has not responded to the claims.
More details are expected as the situation develops.
