Southeast Leaders Urged to Unite at SEELE COLLOQUIUM 2026 for sustainable Regional development
Aba, Nigeria – Leaders and stakeholders from the South East region have been urged to put aside their differences and unite to reposition the region for greatness as plans are in top gear for the upcoming SEELE COLLOQUIUM 2026. The event, organized by CEED Foundation, aims to bring together Igbo elites, leaders, and entrepreneurs to forge a collective effort in driving the region’s development.
The SEELE 2026, themed “Reinvigorating a Sustainable Regional Development Agenda: The South East Advantage,” will feature keynote speeches, awards, a book launch, and exhibitions, providing a platform for leaders to share experiences and inspire others. Hon. Chibuisi Mba, lead Director of CEED Foundation, emphasized the need for unity, stating, “We have the manpower, we have the technological know-how… we are originally wired for self-growth, development, and success.”
The event seeks to address the region’s marginalization concerns and catalyze positive change. With discussions on overcoming current challenges and designing a new pathway for sustainable development, the SEELE COLLOQUIUM 2026 aims to position the South East as a major player in Nigeria’s political and economic landscape.
Mba warned that without unity of purpose, the region’s development would be hindered, saying, “If egos, disputes, or selfish fractures creep in, this dream collapses before it reaches shore.” He emphasized the need for leaders to build grassroots structures across the South East, leveraging the region’s youth-driven momentum to drive future growth.
The TOP 100 South East Emerging Leaders and Entrepreneurs (SEELE) initiative aims to recognize and empower innovative leaders and entrepreneurs, reinvigorating the South East development agenda.
