A devastating tragedy has struck the Doka Community in Kaduna State, leaving a family and community in mourning. Ahmed Musa, a Senior Secondary Two (SS2) student at Government Technical College, Malali, was brutally murdered on the school premises on February 16, 2025. His father, Musa Muhammed, a journalist and activist, confirmed the incident, revealing that Ahmed’s body showed physical signs of brutalization and strangulation.
The Kaduna Doka Development Association (KDDA) has petitioned Governor Senator Uba Sani, urging him to probe the circumstances surrounding Ahmed’s death. In a statement, KDDA Chairman Sani Rabiu Bako expressed profound sorrow and appealed for justice, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Bako highlighted the devastating impact of the tragedy on the community, stating that it has shaken their faith in the safety of their surroundings. He called on the governor to direct relevant authorities to investigate the case, ensure the perpetrators are apprehended, and prioritize the safety and security of citizens, especially in educational institutions.
Copies of the petition were sent to the Commissioner of Police, Education, DSS office, and other security agencies. The Police Command has confirmed that they are investigating the matter, with the Commissioner of Police directing a full investigation.
The community is demanding justice for Ahmed Musa and his family, and the KDDA is confident that Governor Sani’s leadership and commitment to public safety will ensure a swift and effective resolution to the case.
