The Lagos State government has taken drastic measures to address noise pollution by sealing off several establishments, including a branch of Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s Redeemed Christian Church of God and a Celestial church. The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced that the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) sealed the establishments on Tuesday.

According to Wahab, the enforcement drive focused on areas such as Ogudu, Gbagada, Iyana Ejigbo, Isolo, Ajao Estate, Oshodi, Ilasamaja, and Okota. The move is part of LASEPA’s ongoing efforts to maintain environmental standards and protect public health. The commissioner stated that the agency will continue to take action against establishments violating noise pollution regulations.
