BREAKING: Donald Trump Wins U.S. Presidential Election

Republican candidate Donald Trump has secured the U.S. presidency by surpassing the 270 electoral votes needed to win.

With Wisconsin now counted in his favor, Trump has reached 276 electoral votes, exceeding the minimum threshold for the presidency.

Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, stands at 219 electoral votes and is reportedly preparing her concession speech, which CNN reports will be delivered shortly.

Trump managed to turn a few traditionally Democratic states to the Republican column and defeated Harris in several key battleground states.

Returning to the White House, Trump previously served as the 45th U.S. president from 2017 to 2021.

“This was a movement like nobody has ever seen before. We overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible,” Trump said before news networks projected his victory.

“Every day, I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America.”

“We are going to help our country heal. We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We are gonna fix our borders, we are gonna fix everything about our country. We made history for a reason tonight.”

Trump’s campaign was largely focused on immigration, economic growth, and strengthening border security. He consistently described the Democratic Party as “weak” on these issues.
