Obaseki Urges Edo People to Support Okpebholo’s Administration

Outgoing Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has called on the people of Edo to extend the same cooperation and support they gave his administration to the incoming administration of Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Obaseki made this remark during a thanksgiving service and dedication of the refurbished Government House Chapel to God, where he expressed gratitude to God for His support and provision throughout his eight-year tenure.

“As we transit into a new administration, I urge each and every one of you to extend the level of cooperation and support to my administration to the incoming administration,” Obaseki said.

He emphasized the importance of working together towards a brighter future for Edo State and Nigeria, stating, “We have no other country.”

Obaseki also thanked the people of Edo for their partnership and cooperation, acknowledging that their trust, encouragement, and passion fueled his administration’s delivery of impactful projects and processes that transformed the state.

The dedication of the chapel, according to Obaseki, will serve as a testimony and enduring spirit to the Edo people and the good things that will be accomplished in the state.

This development comes as Obaseki prepares to hand over the reins to Okpebholo, marking a significant transition in Edo State’s leadership.
