President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved eight key actions to boost his administration’s efficiency and deliver on campaign promises

 

 

1. *Ministry Renaming*: The Ministry of Niger Delta Development is now Ministry of Regional Development, overseeing Regional Development Commissions nationwide, including Niger Delta Development Commission, South East Development Commission, North East Development, and North West Development Commission.

2. *Sports Ministry Dissolved*: Functions transferred to the National Sports Commission for a vibrant sports economy.

3. *Merger*: Federal Ministry of Tourism and Arts and Culture merge to form Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy.

4. *Ministerial Reassignments*: Ten ministers reassigned to new portfolios.

5. *Discharged Ministers*: Five ministers discharged from their duties.

1. Hon. Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu: Minister of State, Education to Minister of State Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction

2. Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa: Minister State, Health to Minister of Education

4. Hon. Abubakar Eshiokpekha Momoh: Minister of Niger Delta Development to Minister of Regional Development
