The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has alleged that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) is trying to shortchange its members. IPMAN claims that NNPCL refuses to supply petrol at the old price or refund members’ money, despite paying for the product before the recent price hike to around N1,030.
IPMAN National President, Abubakar Garima, stated on Channels Television’s Morning Brief that members had paid for petrol products before the price increase announcement. Garima demanded that NNPCL either sell to IPMAN at the same rate as Dangote or refund their money, allowing them to purchase directly from Dangote.
