The video has sparked outrage among residents of Onitsha, with many expressing their disappointment at the state of the water fountain.
Speaking to reporters, a resident of the area, Mrs. Ngozi Okonkwo, said, “It is disheartening to see that the water fountain, which was meant to beautify the area, is now being used in such a manner. It shows a lack of respect for public property.”
Efforts to reach the Anambra State Government for comment on the issue have so far been unsuccessful.
It remains to be seen how authorities will address the issue of the water fountain being misused in such a manner and if any steps will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
