A suicide bomber in Borno State, Nigeria, killed himself and injured two others using an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The incident occurred at 8pm on Sunday, during Muslim night prayers.
The male bomber was suspected to be heading to the mosque and detonated the IED near a roundabout.Two passersby were injured and rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The Borno State Police Public Relations Officer ASP Daso Nahum while confirming the incident to journalists ured people to increase vigilance during Ramadan.
