Mr Daniel Bwala, an ally of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s leadership ability.
Me Bwala, one of Tinubu’s critics during the buildup to the 2023 elections, recently had a private meeting with the president at the State House.
While speaking to journalists after the meeting, Bwala described Tinubu as his motivation and pledged to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
This was disclosed in a tweet via his X (Twitter) handle on Thursday, January 18, that Bwala extolled Tinubu’s leadership skill and his uncanny knack for competence, loyalty and dedication. The lawyer further likened Tinubu to former American president, Abraham Lincoln.
According to Hobnob News reports, he wrote: “He values competence, loyalty and dedication. He looks beyond primordial sentiments, he recognizes the difference between politics and collaboration for the good of the country. To him, the country comes first: to every patriot the country should come first. @officialABAT adopts the Abraham Lincoln Style of leadership; country first.
“If you want to understand him, read the book ‘Lincoln on Leadership; executive strategies for tough times’,” Bwala advised.
