A Twitter user @UncleCCA, has shared a perplexing encounter after he advised an Okrika (thrift) vendor to return a substantial sum of money found in a bale of clothes. The vendor, who happens to be a friend’s sister, blocked him on WhatsApp following his counsel.
Taking to his Twitter account, @UncleCCA narrated the incident, explaining that the vendor discovered $1850 in the recent bale of Okrika clothes she had ordered, equivalent to approximately 1.5 million Naira.In his attempt to guide her towards the ethical path, he suggested that, as a child of God, she should return the substantial sum to its rightful owner. However, the situation took an unexpected turn as he found himself blocked from viewing her WhatsApp status, and his messages were no longer delivered.

“My friend’s sister who sells Okirika just found $1850 in the bale of Okirika she bought. I asked her to return the money to the owner. As a child of God, you’re to return it. I can no longer see her WhatsApp status anymore, and my messages are no longer delivering. What happened?” he wrote.
